QUESTIONS REGARDING OUR FLOWER JARS…

Can I choose the specific flowers delivered?

Unfortunately, no. We only do one design each Friday, and this will often differ depending on availability at the Sydney Flower Markets. Be assured however that all of our flower jars are designed thoughtfully and with care using freshly sourced, seasonal blooms. Trust us- whatever we come up with on the day is going to be beautiful!

Where do you deliver?

Our delivery area is quite wide and includes suburbs in Sydney’s Sutherland Shire and right throughout the Illawarra. As this is quite an expanse, our delivery area is divided into three zones. Each zone has a different delivery price associated with it. See ‘delivery areas’ under the flower jar tab to see if we deliver to your suburb and the cost involved. If you do not see your suburb listed, then we do not deliver there yet. If you feel that your suburb is on the fringe of our delivery area, feel free to get in contact and see if I will be in your area on your chosen day. You might just get lucky!

What time can I expect my delivery to arrive?

Your flowers will arrive anywhere between 9am and 5pm on your selected Friday, with most of our customers receiving their flower jars between 10am and 4pm. It is difficult for me to estimate exactly what time to expect your blooms as my delivery route changes weekly depending on the orders I receive, and my deliveries start at various times depending on how many jars first need to be arranged in the studio before I head off!

Can I request a specific delivery time?

If it is imperative that the recipient receive their flowers at a specific time, then I will do my best to accommodate you. However, this will be dependent on the route I will be taking on the particular day of your order, and specific times cannot be guaranteed. As a general rule, deliveries can only be made within the window of 9am and 5pm on your selected Friday.

What if my jar hasn’t arrived?

If you are worried that your jar has not arrived, please keep in mind that we deliver right up until 5pm. If your order was a gift, please make sure you have given the recipient a few hours to respond with thanks to you and keep in mind that they may not have arrived home yet! If your order was for yourself and it has not arrived by 5pm and you have not heard from us, then please get in touch via our CONTACT FORM. We will do our best to figure out what went wrong and negotiate a solution with you.

What if the recipient isn’t there to receive the delivery?

If the recipient is not home, then their flower jar will be left at their front door. I will do my best to find a safe, shady and weatherproof spot for it, although this will obviously change from home to home. As the flowers come in a jar, you can have some peace of mind that they will be sitting in water as they await the arrival of their new owner. If the flowers are being delivered to a work place, then they will be left with colleagues. In the case of apartment buildings, I will aim to buzz a neighbour and leave the delivery inside the building. If this is not possible, then the flowers will be left outside the building by the door. Sometimes a friendly neighbour will bring it inside if they arrive home before you.

What if the wrong address details were given?

It is important that you supply accurate information in order for your delivery to arrive smoothly. However, mistakes can happen. If you have supplied the wrong address, or the recipient no longer resides at the address supplied, please contact us immediately. Redelivery can be arranged up until when orders close on the Thursday at 10pm. Unfortunately, once deliveries have begun on the Friday, flowers will be delivered to the address provided when purchasing, so please make sure you contact us to make any adjustments BEFORE the Friday. Please be aware that we’re not responsible for mistakes in information supplied, and we are not contactable on the Friday once deliveries have begun.

Can I include a note with my flowers?

Of course! Each delivery will automatically include the name of the giver and receiver. However if you would like to also include a BRIEF note, then complete the ‘add a short message’ section when checking out. Please be aware that I do not check spelling, grammar or punctuation – so make sure you get it right when you’re purchasing!

Can you deliver to hospitals?

Not at this stage, but stay tuned while I liaise with hospitals in the Illawarra and Shire to make this option available in the future.
